About Us
Andy Hagen – Vocals, Guitar, Percussion, Songwriter
Andy does most of the singing and guitar work in the band, mostly because someone has to, and also because he’s good at it. With musical tastes that span a few decades and several genre rabbit holes, from gritty old blues to polished modern pop, he brings his own interpretation to everything he plays (whether you asked for it or not). His original songs are equal parts melancholy and mischief, drawn from real life and the occasional dramatic overstatement.
When he’s not fronting the band, Andy teaches high-school chemistry, guitar, and whatever else gets thrown at him. He has a deep love for mountain biking, scars to prove it, and a story for each one. Ask him about them at your own risk… you may walk away with both a good laugh and a bad idea.
D.J. Thomson – Fiddle, Backing Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin
D.J. plays fiddle, but don’t let that fool you, he refuses to let it just be a melody instrument. He layers in improv, folk, fiddle tunes, and occasional “that sounded kind of classical” flourishes over whatever Andy is doing, often acting as the band’s unofficial keyboard, bass, and percussion section… all from one instrument. Or at least he tries. He’s musically agreeable to a fault and will say yes to any genre, usually finding a way to sneak something weird and wonderful into the mix.
Outside of music, D.J. has too many hobbies and not nearly enough focus, he’s tried to fix that, but then something shiny usually happens. Fortunately, the one thing he never seems to forget is how to show up and make good noise.

Where we’re playing!
We’re based out of Hamilton and Guelph, but we’ll gladly wander anywhere in southern Ontario with a somewhat captive audience and a place to park. We’re always up for hitting the road, especially if there’s good food or brews. Whether you’re a cozy café, a lively brewery, a backyard bash, or something in between, drop us a line.
